Who We Are

We’re a small team of therapists whose mission is to support families during critical years of development by providing language-rich play opportunities, increasing access to professionals for early identification and additional support, and implementing evidence-based, functional treatment and parent coaching for optimal results.

Meghan Samuels, M.S. CCC-SLP

Hi, there! I am Meghan. I am a certified and licensed speech language pathologist (SLP) and the owner of Tiny Talkers PLLC.

Tiny Talkers is built from my love of working with toddler and preschool-aged children. I have worked as an SLP for the past eight years and worked in a variety of settings, including private practice and local public schools.  As an SLP, I am trained and experienced in developmental speech and language which includes articulation, receptive language, expressive language, preliteracy, vocabulary, social skills, and general communication skills. I firmly believe in literacy-based intervention, play-based therapy, and focusing on the child as a whole.

I am passionate about creating a speech and language therapy practice that increases accessibility to services and improves the outcomes of therapy. Throughout my professional experience there have been countless interactions with parents stating they had concerns with their child’s communication when they were younger but they didn’t know where to start or they were on a waitlist for months just to get evaluated. I believe that having access to a professional for screening, discussion, and treatment can be lifechanging for children and families. My hope is that through the model of Tiny Talkers PLLC families will find services that fit their needs.

Daycare and Parent’s Day Out options are typically where children at this age receive their contact with peers and/or introduction to learning. I created Tiny Talkers to provide children who are home with mom or dad and/or a nanny the chance for structured play, learning opportunities, and access to peers. Small groups allow for increased attention from children to activities and increased ability to give devoted time to each child from the facilitator. Exposure to novel material and vocabulary at a young age makes a difference in children’s language and learning abilities as they enter elementary school.

Tiny Talkers PLLC also currently provides one-on-one speech therapy for children within their home and/or school. If you have concerns regarding your child’s speech/language development, we’d love to assist you through the evaluation process and navigation of needed services.

Whether you are looking to promote your child’s communication through language-rich play or if you have questions regarding your child’s development, my hope is that Tiny Talkers will meet your family’s needs.

Meet Lyndi, a skilled and passionate certified and licensed speech language pathologist!

Lyndi is from a small town in central IL, and she attended both undergrad and grad school at the University of Iowa (go Hawkeyes!). She received her bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2018 and her master’s in Speech-Language Pathology in 2020. Lyndi was first introduced to the field of speech-language pathology through a very close family friend in her senior year of high school, and after observing a day full of therapy with preschool-aged children, she knew she had found her passion. While studying at U of Iowa, Lyndi’s passion for the field continued to grow, and she further realized her affinity for working with children with a variety of skill sets and needs. She is trained in Natural Language Acquisition (NLA) to support language development for gestalt language processors and loves working with neurodiverse/ASD populations. She also enjoys treating speech sound disorders and supporting children’s social and play skills to help them engage with their peers and flourish in their everyday lives. Lyndi moved from IL to Nashville in 2020 and has absolutely loved making Nashville “home.” In her free time, Lyndi loves exercising, being outside, lounging on the couch and binge-watching TV shows, reading, cleaning (yes, really!), and exploring new restaurants in the Nashville area.
